God's love, still amazes me!

Many busy, event filled days have passed since I last posted. I couldn't even remember everything that has happened if I tried! Well, I could, but it might take a looong time! ;)

To sum it all up, I just want to praise God for the many ways that He has shown Himself faithful to me these past few weeks!! To be honest, it has been some of the hardest weeks and days for me. Many times of feeling like I'm almost in an emotional fog or something? I've never felt that way before, but I knew that something HAD to change! It was all just a process of me surrendering my will to what God's will is for me! =) Sounds like an easy fix, right?!! :) Well, it's a lot easier to say than to go through and actually do!

I'm praising God for my wonderful family who have shown me their love in many ways...but most of all by praying for me!! God has used so many special people in my life too! Many friends who have been such an encouragement and have shown their love and care, whether it's a smile across the way, a hug, words of encouragement or silently praying! I have no doubt that it's because of the prayers and then the wonderful church services that we've had the past 2 weeks. That I was able to feel a release about a lot of things, and now am looking forward to see what God is going to do!! Yes, there will still be many hard times I'm sure. But I want to honor God and my parents in where we are at in our life right now. For this time, it's going to be in MI.

Our house is officially sold and we have to be moved out by the second week of May. So, our journey has begun! We've been in NY for almost 2 weeks now. Dad and Jesse have taken two trailer loads back to MI so far. We are planning on leaving again for MI on Tues with another trailer packed full. We will be there for at least 3 weeks. Then back to NY for 2 weeks to get everything moved out.

While in MI these next few weeks. Dad will be very busy with the opening up of the group home for Mentally challenged adults. Mom and us girls will be kept busy with giving Amanda a shower for her 2nd baby!

For now, I'm going to enjoy the time that I AM here in NY!! The past few weeks here have been SO good! Extremely busy and packed full. But it's so worth every minute! I was still sick for the first half of the trip, so I was trying to recover from that and keep up with everything else that was going on! God was good and these past few weeks have been a blessing! =) All of the times practicing for the play or just getting things ready for Mission's conference...such good times!! :)

This week has been Mission's conference week! It's been AMAZING! The first night I was able to bring both Brady and Brice to church with me. That was a blessing for me! Thursday morning Jesse and I went out door knocking with church people. Then I went to baby-sit, and help Cuarie out because she had to go to the ER. For some complications from the surgery that she had last Thursday. So that was a rushed day...then the conference that night! The messages that night were AWESOME! There was a chalk talk, a Missionary , and then Adam Thompson! The messages were so good and all tied in with each other. God has been working on me in my life and because of these messages, I once again was able to give everything over to the Lord! I had a really great talk with Mom and Dad after getting home. Just to reassure them that I will be there to back them up in whatever decisions they make.I felt so much more peace with everything that night! I'm excited to see what God has planned for our family! I know that it's through the "hard" times that we grow closest to the Lord. I wouldn't trade that for anything!!

Friday night was the night of the play! I had another busy day leading up to that. I went to the hospital to visist Caurie in the morin. Then went to baby sit from 1-3:30. Had to be at church for practice at 4:00. So, I was just a little late and feeling rushed. God was SO good though, everyone did such an awesome job. I know that it was just because SO many people were praying and fasting for this night. Many hrs of practice went into it and God's name was glorified!!! PTL! :)

It was so neat to see how each individual in the play assumed their character so perfectly! God was good and I know that many lives were touched by it! If not anyone else, all of us who were involved in it were blessed!! :) It was such a great experience and I am praising God for allowing us to be a part of it!! It's a great memory that we'll have forever!!

Today was the ladies lunch-in with Mrs Thompson as the main speaker. Since I had the boys again I brought them with me. From what I was able to hear of the message, it was really good too! After the meeting was over I brought the boys back to the house and left them with their Dad. Then I went back up to the hospital to visit Caurie!

It was nice to be home this evening, such a good feeling to be able to spend time with the family and to make dinner without being rushed to leave somewhere! ;)

Looking forward to what God is going to do tomorrow at the last day of Mission's Conference!! It's been SO good so far, can't wait to see what God has in store! Kinda sad that it's going to be over though! :(

Still praising God for HIS faithfulness! SO blessed for all that He does and looking forward to watching HIS plan unfold!!
