Waiting for God to work out HIS perfect will!

Yet another day that went by with another adventure starting! We were up at my sister's house yesterday doing some projects for her and her husband while they were away for the weekend. When we got the call telling us that my older brother, Jeremiah had been in a snowmobile accident.(the snowmobile landed on top of his whole right side) It actually had happened the night before we heard the news. He had gone home thinking that he was just in alot of pain. The next morning he woke up realizing that he couldn't feel or move his legs. He called 911 and had an ambulance come take him to the Emergency room. They told him that he had ruptured some discs in his back and that his shoulder was possibly broken.

After we heard about this happening, Mom and Dad brought all of us kids home. (30 min drive). Then drove up to the hospital (another hr's drive)to see Jeremiah. Dad said that when they got there he was on pain medication. So he was in and out, sleeping on and off. We are all using this time to pray once again on Jeremiah's behalf. Trusting that God will be glorified through these circumstances. I know that He has a plan and will be glorified as long as we keep our focus and trust in HIM.

Today, Mom and Dad left our house at 5 AM. To head up to the hospital to see Jeremiah. It wasn't what you would call a "rest-ful" night last night for Mom and Dad. (or me)! So I'm praying that God's peace will be on Mom and Dad while they're up there dealing with everything that's going on. Dad called a while ago and said that they haven't had any one on one time with Jeremiah yet. He just asked that we would pray against the powers and principalities that are warring against them. I guess that's where we're at with this whole thing. Just praying and trusting that God is going to be glorified!

I'm home with the kids today and I have to say that it was a weird feeling not to be going to church on a Sunday morning. (we only have one car here, so I couldn't even go to church with them) I know that Mom and Dad listened to a sermon while they were driving this morning. The kids and I took about an hour here at home and had our own "church"! It was a blessing to still take time out of our day for the Lord. We listened to a sermon online from OPBBC. I'm thankful for the blessing of being able to listen to sermons while we're here in MI!! Makes us feel like we're still part of the church over there! =)

After we listened to the sermon and prayed. The kids have been playing the piano and we listened to some specials that we had recorded from while we were at OPBBC. Now we feel like we had a complete service! Even though we weren't at an actual church. It was a blessed morning!! I'm SO thankful to the Lord for my family and the many things that I AM blessed with!!

I hope that you all have a GREAT Day! Happy Valentine's Day!

God bless,
~Susanna

  7. We are still praying for your brother. Please keep us updated.

I understand what it is like to miss OPBBC. There is no church like it in the whole world. I love our church here esp. with the little bits of OPBBC we have but its still not the same. But I am glad you all had a good morning. Its great to still be able to have a good Sunday even if you are not at HOME!!!

    Miss you!
